Fall 2012

Adult Introductory Rowing

AVAILABLE IN WINTER AND SUMMER ONLY

The Introductory (or Learn to Row) program is designed to provide individuals that have had little or no exposure to the sport (as well as those that have been away from it for an extended period) a comprehensive introduction to the skills they will need to become competent at propelling a rowing shell. Following the Introductory program, participants will have the option of pursuing the sport with Essex Rowing in either a recreational or competitive capacity along with other rowers of a comparable skill level.

Adult Novice/Recreational Rowing and Coxing

MINIMUM 3 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE FROM A COACH REQUIRED

The novice session is for athletes that have moved beyond the introductory level and wish to further develop their skills. The recreational program is for experienced, competitive rowers that wish to participate in local and regional competitions.
